| Country Cottages
The cottages are two-bedroom duplexes
located on a wooded rural landscape. Each
duplex is comprised of over 1000 square feet of living space, has
two large bedrooms, spacious closets, large living rooms, a bathtub/shower with grab bars, kitchen, large laundry room, a patio
and attached garage. Appliances are provided. They include a large
refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave oven, disposal, washer and
dryer, drapes, and of course air-conditioning and heating through
an efficient heat pump system.
This unique setting allows for any
residents future needs as they age and require more assistance.
Total independence is an option, but many services are provided
such as lawn care, snow removal, and household maintenance.
Residents are encouraged to participate
in all of the activities offered at Gold Crest Retirement Center.
They include van rides for shopping trips, fishing trips, art and
craft activities, and social activities such as cards and bingo.
Services such as delivered meals, housekeeping, or assistance with
picking up medical supplies can be arranged. The units require a
$600 damage deposit, and rent is $600 per month. Electricity, phone,
and cable TV are paid for by the resident. Gold Crest covers garbage
pickup and water.
