Meet the Department Directors
Jeff Fritzen, Executive Director
Mr. Fritzen has been at Gold Crest since March of 2010. Prior to working
at GCRC, Jeff was the Administrator at Heritage Care Center in Saint Paul,
NE and Heritage Care Center in Fairbury, NE. Jeff has many ties to the
area as he was a graduate of Freeman High School and has lived in Adams

Roxanne
Wiebe, Director of Nursing
Ms. Wiebe has been a Charge Nurse at GCRC
since 1998. Prior to her position at GC she
was a surgical nurse in the operating rooms at
Bryan LGH/East for 3 years. Roxanne has served
as Safety Committee Chairperson 2 years and
has been active in CNA education as well as
educational inservices. Her personal mission
is to provide a loving support system for
residents and their families who need long
term care in a home like setting. She looks
forward to meeting family members and together
with all departments do their best to meet

Diane
Nieveen, Social Services Director
Ms. Nieveen has been the Social Service
Director for Gold Crest since it's opening in
1984. Prior to that, Diane worked in the
communities of Panama and Firth as the Senior
Center Manager for 8 years. Each job Diane has
held, including being a nursing assistant in
high school and a Medical Assistant in a
physician's office, has led her to understand
that working with the elderly is a passion of

Janet
Trout, Activities Director
Ms. Trout has been the Activity Director at
Gold Crest since 1986. Prior to Gold Crest,
Janet worked part-time in the interiors
business while raising her familiy. She has
always been an active community volunteer. The
emphasis in Activities is to continue to live
an enriched life. Janet truly believes that
all of us have a purpose. You can contact

Deb
Copas, Dietary Manager
Ms. Copas has been at Gold Crest since January 2009. Deb came to GCRC
with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She strives to ensure that
the meals served are nutritous and wonderful tasting. You can contact

Joe
Ashelford , Maintenance Director
Mr. Ashelford has been at Gold Crest since August of 2009. Joe has immense
experience in construction and managing projects. He formerly was an owner/partner
in a construction company for 12 years and had been in the profession
for 22 years. His company was known for building very high quality custom
homes while providing a high level of customer service. Joe has experience
in budget control, complete project management, light electrical, plumbing,
concrete, drywall, roofing, landscaping and painting. Joe has a proven
eye for detail and works hard to make the GCRC campus beautiful. You can

Marge
Klein, Housekeeping/Laundry Director
Ms. Klein has been at Gold Crest since the
original opening in May of 1984. Marge is
responsible for the environmental services in
the facility, namely the cleaning and laundry.
She continually strives to keep Gold Crest
clean and well kept to help maintain our
"homey" atmosphere. You can contact

Janie
Jantzen, Child Care Director
Ms. Jantzen has been at Gold Crest since 1988.
Janie started at GCRC as a Nursing Assistant.
In 1990, the Child Day Care Center opened and
she became a day care teacher. In 1993, Janie
asssumed the Child Day Care Director's
position. Janie truly enjoys her calling to
work with the old and the young together. She
believes that both groups need one another to

Holly
Klein, Director of Administration
Ms. Klein has been at Gold Crest since 2002. Her background is in business
management and accounting. Prior to Gold Crest, Holly was the Office Manager
for the Firth COOP and worked at the Adams School System offices. You can

Michelle Denker, Assistant Director
of Nursing
Ms. Denker has been at Gold Crest on and off since 1998. Michelle started
at GCRC as a Nurse Aide, then a Medication Aide, LPN, RN, Charge Nurse and
is currently the Assistant Director of Nurses. Prior to her position at GCRC
she worked at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln with many different
types of patients including Orthopedics, Cardiac, Wounds, and Multi-System
Failure. She serves as a resource person on Assisted Living and assists all
residents with their medical needs. Michelle continually strives to make positive
changes and adapt new ideas to enrich the lives of those who live at GCRC..
